Our Story

Sweet & Salty Queens is a small business that started in 2020 Astoria, Queens. They began as a home-processor and provided their pastries at local pop-ups, coffee shops in Brooklyn and Queens, online for delivery, and at outdoor markets across NYC. In March 2022, they relocated to Peekskill and currently operate out of the RYZE Collective located in Peekskill's Hat Factory. Their mission is to provide a space for those that are health-conscious and to individuals who may have food allergies that are seeking delicious options, by offering quality and affordable gluten-free/dairy-free/vegan baked goods made with locally sourced ingredients.

A LITTLE ABOUT THE OWNERS

Terri Dreisbach and Leah Guarino are the passionate owners of a unique bakery. Terri, a pastry chef with over two decades of experience, specializes in creating sweet and savory flavors using unconventional ingredients. They have worked in top restaurants in New York City and San Francisco. Leah, on the other hand, works in education and  spent over 10 years working in the service industry in Detroit and NYC to put herself through school. Together, they make a dynamic that brings a fresh perspective to the world of pastry.
